Privacy

In short: this site does not collect your data. The only exception is the chat with Sonia, and it works only when you open it yourself.

• There are no forms, accounts or comments.
• There are no cookies, analytics, social media pixels or embedded videos. Your choice of light or dark theme is stored only in your browser and is never sent anywhere.
• Fonts and styles are served from this site, not from third-party services.
• The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any hosting provider, Cloudflare may briefly process technical connection data, such as an IP address, to protect against attacks. We do not access this data.

Chat with Sonia. Sonia is a program, not a person. When you send a message in the chat, the text of the conversation is passed through our server to Anthropic (USA) to generate a reply. Under Anthropic's commercial terms such data is not used to train models and may be retained for a limited period (normally up to 30 days) for safety monitoring. We do not store or read conversations; the hosting provider's technical log may record the time, status, IP address and browser type of a request, but never the text of the messages. Do not share personal data in the chat: for anything that requires it, use email.

If you write to info@appliedmathlab.org, your message and address are kept in our mailbox for as long as the correspondence lasts and a reply is needed. We do not share them with third parties or add them to mailing lists.

We do not publish photos, surnames or stories of the children we work with without the written consent of their legal guardian. We process children's personal data only to the minimum extent necessary.
